HCAN Announces New Hub Partner

Jun 2, 2026

CINCINNATI, OH – Health Care Access Now (HCAN) is proud to announce The BLACK Collaborative Inc. (TBC) as its newest Hub partner, strengthening efforts to improve maternal and infant health outcomes for Black and Medicaid-eligible families across the region.

Founded in 2023, The BLACK Collaborative advances maternal and infant health equity through community-based care coordination, perinatal mental health support, cardiovascular health education, lactation support, resource navigation, and advocacy, connecting families to culturally responsive care and essential resources.

“The addition of The BLACK Collaborative to our Hub network reflects HCAN’s commitment to advancing equitable systems of care through strong community partnerships,” said Dameta Wright, HCAN Director.

Since its founding, The BLACK Collaborative has expanded access to maternal health services through mobile clinics, mental health programming, community health worker support, and screening for depression and hypertension.

Together, HCAN and The BLACK Collaborative will work to enhance care coordination, increase access to services, and advance maternal and infant health equity throughout the region.
