Community Healthcare Workers Summit Celebrates Leadership and Growth Across Ohio

CINCINNATI— Health Care Access Now (HCAN) hosted a successful Community Health Workers (CHW) Summit at Receptions in Fairfield, bringing together CHWs from Dayton, Columbus, and the greater Cincinnati area, including partners in Butler County, to focus on career growth, leadership, and advocacy.

The event drew more than 175 attendees and featured powerful stories from CHWs, along with inspiring presentations by Dr. Tanikka Price of Health Impact Ohio and Schanel Harvey of Community Action Pathways Hub. The summit concluded with remarks from Angela Dawson, Executive Director of the Ohio Commission on Minority Health.

The event was sponsored by the Center for Community Health Worker Excellence and hosted by HCAN, with support from leaders across Talbert House.
